See How Deloitte Is Using YouTube to Attract and Recruit Millennials (Gen Y)!
Hi,
On top of all the other things on my to-do list I have decided to start a new blog that I will keep current with useful information that all you HR, Diversity, and Training executives, and front-line managers, will find helpful. Along with that info, I’ll also add my (colorful) commentary and hope that you are somewhat entertained in the process.
But seeing as how this is my first post on my new blog, I’ll start by saying that I am REALLY excited about attending the 2008 Human Capital Summit next week in Arizona!
I’ll be a panelist on Monday discussing “Attracting and Retaining the New Economy Workforce:
Generation X and Y”. And one of the experts joining me on the panel is Leah Reynolds from Deloitte. I’m mentioning her because I have to give her some SERIOUS props on her spearheading some great recruitment efforts targeted at Millennials.
When I do seminars about how to effectively attract and recruit Millennials, I always mention Deloitte because they have done some very cool stuff. To see an example of what I’m talking about, and to give you some ideas about what you could be doing at your company, simply go to YouTube and type in “Deloitte”. You will see a ton of mini movies created by their employees designed to attract Millennials to their company. GREAT example about how you can get exposure to this generation (creatively) online.
